Redeemer Church Infant/Toddler Nursery Guidelines

Dear Parents,

Welcome to the Redeemer Nursery! We have recently changed our check-in procedures in order to better serve you and your children.

We have added a Nursery Check-In table in the foyer of the sanctuary to streamline the check-in process.

Each week a Nursery Coordinator will be at the desk to help you get your child(ren) registered and safely to their room.

     We currently have 3 nursery rooms:

          infants/crawlers (birth to walking)

          sleeping infants (birth to walking)

          toddlers (walking to 30 months old)

Please come to the Nursery Check-In Table in the foyer to sign in your child(ren).

At the Nursery Check-In Table, you will:

     1) Sign in your child(ren) on the appropriate sheet

     2) Fill out a registration form for each child if this is their first time in the nursery

     3) Place your child’s name tag on their back

     4) Ensure that all belongings are clearly marked with their name (bags, sippy cups, pacifiers, diapers etc.)

     5) Receive a beeper and leave your car keys (to ensure we get the beepers returned)

**The Nursery Coordinator will page you if your child cries inconsolably for more than 10 minutes and in case of an emergency.

After the service, please return your beeper to the check-in desk and pick up your keys before you pick up your child(ren).

Nursery Illness Policy - Children should be kept out of the nurseries if any evidence of the following is present:

     Runny nose with yellow or green discharge

     Persistent cough

     Fever (any oral or rectal temperature over 100)  **Please wait a full 24 hours after the fever has broken to let your child visit the nursery**

     Vomiting or diarrhea within 24 hours
