1) What could you offer up to God as a ransom price for your Salvation?  What did God give for your Salvation? Does the reality of what God has done to save you impact your day-to-day life?  If yes, how?  If not, why do you think it doesn’t?

2) Do you desire to be holy? Why or why not?  Should a lack of desire for holiness cause you to question your salvation?  

3) How can verses 1-13 serve as the foundation for Peter’s challenge to holiness in 1 Peter 1:14-21?

4) How do we fear the Lord in light of the fact that he paid our ransom?  How should this tension play out in our lives?
