For Further Discussion & Application:
1) According to the National Sleep Foundation, the average adult sleeps six hours and 58 minutes per night during the work week. One hundred years ago—before Mr. Edison's marvelous invention—people slept about nine hours a night. They were right in line with the eight to ten hours of sleep specialists say we need. What might this say about us?
2) Mark Dever has said that sleep is a small, but very real act of faith? In what ways can you see this as true?
3) What does it mean to you that the Lord keeps you, that he watches over you? How does God watch over and keep his people?
4) What things do you look to for help other than God? What do you do first (and last) when life is most difficult for you?
5) How should Psalm 121 provide comfort to you as you face uncertainties in life?
6) It is has been said that Psalm 121 should be a great catalyst to prayer, how so?
