For Further Discussion & Application:

Paul and the Philippians had a relationship of "giving and receiving." How can we model this relationship with each other? Are you more likely to naturally give or receive? How can you work against your natural tendencies and give or receive in love?

In our membership vows, we promise to support the Church in its worship and work to the best of our ability. How are you fulfilling this vow? What does your personal ministry look like?

Do you regard your Christian stewardship, particularly though not exclusively of money, as a partnership?

Do you really believe that God will supply what you need if you give sacrificially? Or do you always give in such a way that sacrifice will be avoided? In what ways are generous giving and sacrificial giving different?

How are the themes of Grace and Joy woven throughout the Book of Philippians? How do these themes influence your giving?

Sunday Lunch Question:

What are your three main takeaways from the Philippians Series? What will you remember most about the Book of Philippians?
